Naming Children As Your Life Insurance Beneficiary

January 10th, 2012

When you name your children as your life insurance beneficiary, it is not so good to word them by name. If you become too specific, you may leave out your other children. Another mistake when naming too specifically is for the unconventional family, some leave out their children from their previous marriage or from the current one. Divorce happens all the time, so you need to think about what to do if ever that will happen. Your children are one of the most important people to keep in mind when naming your life insurance beneficiary. If you die, they are the ones you will be leaving behind, and you want to make sure that they will be taken care of, even without you in the picture. Let this be your final gift to your children. You will rest in peace for sure, knowing that you got to help your children even after you die.
